Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 "And make him share my task: 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
