Al-An 'aam 2 of 20
Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth." 11 Ask them, "Who is the owner of the heavens and the earth besides God, the All-merciful, who will gather you all together on the Day of Judgment? That day will certainly come. Those who have lost their souls will not believe. 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatsoever inhabits the night and the day; and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.' 13 Say, "Shall I take as my protector someone other than God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, who feeds all and is fed by none?" Say, "I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit. Do not be one of the polytheists." 14 Say: I fear, if I rebel against my Lord, the retribution of an Awful Day. 15 Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph. 16 And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things. 17 And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves, and He is the All-Wise, Well-Acquainted with all things. 18 Say: 'God is witness between me and you, and this Koran has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby, and whomsoever it may reach. Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with God?' Say: 'I do not testify.' Say: 'He is only One God, and I am quit of that you associate.' 19 Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe. 20

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
