And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
