The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
