The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it, 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
