And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
