▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
