The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
