The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
