The tree of Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 In gardens and springs; 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
