The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
