Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
