The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
