With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
