It is He who sends down water from heaven, which provides drink for you and brings forth trees on which your herds feed. 10 He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect. 11 And He subjected to you the night and day, and the sun and moon; and the stars are subjected by His command. Surely in that are signs for a people who understand. 12 And other things of different shades has He produced on the earth for you. In this are signs for those who reflect. 13 It is He who subjected to you the sea, that you may eat of it fresh flesh, and bring forth out of it ornaments for you to wear; and thou mayest see the ships cleaving through it; and that you may seek of His bounty, and so haply you will be thankful. 14 And He placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you, and streams and roads for you to find course. 15 And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided. 16 Is He, then, who creates like him who does not create? Will you not, then, take heed? 17 And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 18 God knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. 19 But those whom you invoke, other than Allah do not create anything they are themselves created. 20 Dead are they, not alive; and they perceive not when they will be raised up. 21
