And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
