The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 And the breath of morning 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 Where then are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
