Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
