With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
