WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
