Hence, [warn all men of] the Day when the enemies of God shall be gathered together before the fire, and then shall be driven onward, 19 Until when they come to it, their ears and their sights and their skins will bear witness against them of that which they had been working. 20 And they will say to their bodies: "Why did you testify against us?" They will answer: "God, who gave all things power of articulation, made us speak. It is He who created you the first time, and to Him you will return. 21 It is not that you covered yourselves so that your hearing, eyes and skin could not bear witness against you but you thought that Allah did not know much of that which you do. 22 and that very thought which you thought about your Sustainer has brought you to perdition, and so now you find yourselves among the lost!" 23 Then if they are patient, even then the fire is their home; and if they plead, none will listen to their pleading. 24 ۞ We had assigned to them companions who embellished for them all that was before them and behind them. Thus the same decree (of chastisement) which had overtaken the previous generations of jinn and human beings (also) became due against them. Surely they became the losers. 25
