Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: I do not control for you evil or good. 21 Say: 'None shall protect me from Allah, and other than Him, I will find no refuge, 22 except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever. 23 Until when they see what they are threatened with, then shall they know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number. 24 Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. 25 "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 In order to see that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord – and His knowledge encompasses all whatever they have, and He has kept all things accounted for. 28
