The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So fear God and listen to me. 163 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." 167 He said: Surely I am of those who utterly abhor your doing; 168 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." 169 So We delivered him and his followers all, 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
