And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
