Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
