The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
