In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
