۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
