And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
