Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
