Proclaim, “Who guards you night and day from the Most Gracious?” In fact they have turned away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Can their gods protect them against Us? Their gods have no power even to help themselves, nor are they safe from Our retribution. 43 We have been providing these men and their fathers with the means of enjoyment for a long time. Have they not ever considered that We populated the earth and then caused many of the inhabitants to pass away? Can they have any success (in their wickedness)? 44 (Muhammad), tell them, "I am warning you by revelation alone." The deaf do not hear any call when they are warned. 45 yet if even a breath of your Lord's punishment touched them, they would say, "Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers." 46 And We shall set balances of justice for the Day of Judgment; then no soul shall be wronged at all; and if it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed We shall bring it; and We suffice as Reckoners. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the Salvation and a Radiance, and a Remembrance for the godfearing 48 who fear their unseen Lord and are anxious about the Day of Judgment. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down. Do you disbelieve it? 50
