Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
