Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
