Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, recall My favors which you enjoyed. Fulfill your covenant with Me and I shall fulfill Mine. Revere only Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 42 Establish worship, pay the poor-due, and bow your heads with those who bow (in worship). 43 ۞ Will you bid others to piety, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand? 44 Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded, 45 who realize that ultimately they shall meet their Lord and shall return to Him. 46
