And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
