Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
