۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 Nor is darkness (tantamount to) light; 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 So We seized the unbelievers. How great was the change I wrought in their condition then! 26
