The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
