Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters would never leave off; till the Clear Sign came to them, 1 an apostle from God, conveying [unto them] revelations blest with purity, 2 Wherein are all the right ordinances. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 Those of the deniers of truth among the People of the Book and the polytheists will dwell forever in Hell-fire. They are the worst of creatures. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein for ever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord. 8
