The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
