Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known extent. 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
