۞ Allah says: 'Do not take to yourself two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me' 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 But as soon as He removes the distress from you, some of you associate others with their Lord in giving thanks, 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 And they appoint a share of that We have provided them to what they know not. By God, you shall be questioned as to that you forged. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly, 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 To those who believe not in the Hereafter, applies the similitude of evil: to Allah applies the highest similitude: for He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. 60
