The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And therein raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
