The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
