Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 Faces on that day humbled, 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 They shall have no food except bitter dry thorns 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 A gushing fountain shall be there 12 and raised couches, 13 And goblets set at hand 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 And linen spread out. 16 DO, THEN, they [who deny resurrection] never gaze at the clouds pregnant with water, [and observe] how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? 20 So render good counsel, for you are simply required to counsel, 21 Thou art not at all a warder over them. 22 But whosoever will turn back and disbelieve 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us is surely their returning; 25 Then verily on Us is their reckoning. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
