The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 by a burning fire 5 As they sat around it 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
