Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

SAY: "I seek refuge with the Sustainer of the rising dawn, 1 against the evil of whatever He has created. 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots, 4 "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
