The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
