He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 and in awe [of God] 9 you ignore him. 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 In honored books, 13 exalted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 Of what did He create him? 18 Of a sperm-drop He created him, and determined him, 19 Then (as for) the way-- He has made it easy (for him) 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 to yield therein corn, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and grass, 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 wife and sons, 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing, joyous. 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
