Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
